Asian School of Management , Pune offers MMM & MPM two years full time programme affililiated to Pune University.
The Course teaches the students how to manage functional areas and understand the Business language used in the corporate world. The PGP + MBA (Dual)  degree, is a generalist degree designed to give students a solid grounding in the core aspects of management.

It aims to achieve a strategic business perspective, focusing on Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Information Technology with Super Specialization of Banking & Insurance, Retail Management, International Business, Services Marketing.

Core Units - Takes the view that in order to perform effectively, a manager must be able to manage money, people and markets. The  MMM + PGP / MBA , MPM + PGP / MBA & MBA + PGP has three foundation units to provide students with a solid grounding in these areas.

 UNIQUE FEATURES ABOUT ASOM - ORIENTATION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

 The professional education imparted consists of the following components :

  1. Generic Knowledge : It refers to concepts, principles and theories about the field which are to be applied wherever the process takes place.
  2. Taught to handle induction which is a crucial phase of transition from theory to practice.
  3. Imparting knowledge and skills which pertain to the product, the technology, the process and the organization which is a task of the employing organization ; we at  shall strive to do the same before induction.
  4. Continuing education is primarily the responsibility of the working person, though the employing organization can support it. This education is necessary for acquiring new generic knowledge without which it is difficult to adapt to new demands of the environment and higher responsibilities. Without continuing education the process of personal growth would get stunted. There is also an individualized plan of study under which the participant chooses subjects for study in line with his or her personal growth objectives and follows a programme of self study in consultation with a faculty guide.
  5. Mentoring : Aims at bridging the gap for students who come from different cultural and socio economic background to adopt and perform in an environment individually and in groups.
Apart from delivering the curriculum contents effectively, shall strive to build the following three qualities in its students :
